Our Philosophy

Welcome to Happy & Healthy Pediatrics. Our goal is to provide exceptional pediatric care in a warm, nurturing environment. Becoming a parent is an exciting, sometimes overwhelming endeavor. We will act as your guide on this emotional path.

Another priority is open, full communication. The physician-parent relationship works best when we can understand each other's concerns, objectives and approaches. Our goal is for parents to understand not only our recommendations, but also our reasons behind them. As our patients grow, we involve them more directly in their own care, and we try to assure that they too will learn something from each visit to our office.

New parents are always given the opportunity to ask questions and to discuss any problems or concerns that they may be having.

Our goal is that you should never feel rushed at your child's visit. The visit is concluded only after all of your questions have been answered, and you feel comfortable with the proposed plan of action.

We consider ourselves a comprehensive Wellness Center. Our focus is on more than just the physical elements of health. We also prioritize psychological well-being, care and prevention of illness, behavioral issues, nutrition, school adjustment, and growth and developmental progress. Our physician has extensive experience, both professionally and personally, with breastfeeding, and a focus on supporting our mothers in the practice whom have chosen to nurse is definitely a priority. Happy and Healthy Pediatrics tries to take a very "naturalistic" approach to child care. We do use antibiotics and other medications when necessary, but will use natural remedies when appropriate. We follow all guidelines and tenants set by the American Academy of Pediatrics and we adhere to their immunization schedule. We also try to stay up to date on all new recommendations and research.
